These Terms of Use govern your access to Online Color Picker (seletordecoronline.com.br), run by Felipe Silva, an individual based in Brazil. Please read them before using the site.

Acceptance

By accessing or using the site, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

The service

The site offers free color tools with no sign-up, including the image color picker, the color converter, the contrast checker, the palette extractor, the color blindness simulator and the palette and gradient generators, along with named color pages and educational guides. The service is provided "as is" and "as available". Tools and content may be changed, suspended or removed at any time without notice.

Permitted use

You may use the tools and the results they produce (color codes, palettes, gradients, CSS) freely, for personal or commercial purposes, with no attribution required.

That includes using color codes in logos, websites, apps, printed materials and client projects. You may also share links to the tools and guides, and quote short excerpts with credit and a link to the original page.

Intellectual property

The site's text, design and code belong to its operator and are protected by copyright law. Colors themselves and their codes (such as HEX or RGB) are not claimed by this site; you are free to use them. Images you load into the tools remain yours: they are processed in your browser and never uploaded to the server. Third-party trademarks mentioned belong to their owners.

Disclaimer of warranties

Tool results are calculated with public formulas, but they are approximations. The color you see depends on your display, its calibration and its color profile. CMYK values are mathematical conversions with no print profile and may differ from printed output; for print work, confirm with your printer and a proof. Color blindness simulations represent average models and do not exactly reproduce any individual's perception. The contrast checker helps you evaluate WCAG, but it is not a substitute for a full accessibility audit. The site does not guarantee that the service will always be available, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for direct or indirect damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the site, or for decisions made based on tool results or guide content. It is up to you to check results before relying on them for important work. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that the law grants you and that cannot be limited by contract.

Third-party links and ads

The site links to external websites, such as W3C specifications and MDN documentation, and displays Google AdSense ads. The operator does not control or endorse the content, products or practices of these third parties, which have their own terms and policies. Ads are what keep the tools free.

Educational content

The guides and color pages are for information only. They are written from official specifications and design and development practice, but they are not professional, legal or accessibility advice. Standards such as WCAG may be revised, and a guide's recommendations may not fit your specific case. If you find something wrong, send a correction to the contact email.

These Terms may be updated at any time. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with its last-updated date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new version.
